I've just had the EPC cert back for the house in Wales.

It's got new CH and loft insulation which helps, but the big ticket item is the insulated PB on the inside of all the external walls. Stone built end of terrace, with 60mm insulation board and the EPC rating is C, which is pretty good considering that new builds without solar etc are in C.

Did you use kingspan boards or BG. I have an architect who always spec's kingspan and they are not cheap at all!!!

I'm pretty sure it was Gyproc, twenty odd quid a board IIRC.

That's not bad the last kingspan ones I got were over 50 each and they will only deliver full pallets which bit me on the are the first time I priced a job for them.

Hope you put 2 mechanical fixings in them about half way up

How dare you! I did nothing of the sort! That's plasterer's work, so Lee's predecessor took care of that whilst I got on with important builder things.

Lists don't make themselves you know.

How is swarty? Lol

It was a young lad called James, decent plasterer with a good attitude. He got himself a job on the cards with a maintenance firm, and at 23 we all want a change.

Well, I say change, but his resignation came quite soon after he had to flush the grave digger's Guiness and Kebab sh1t away one morning. Maybe it was that? o_O

What's Happened to Lee?
Was it his Teal Polo Shirts that caused the conscious uncoupling?

It was before his time. Although I haven't seen him much since Christmas, he's been too busy working with a plumber! :frenetico:
