Evening all.

I been asked to.quote up some work for a old customer of mine.

There's been a leak upstairs and obviously the ceilings need replacing.

Now I've never done insurance work for myself personally but done quite a few for a bloke I.do 90% of my work for.

He's basically told me to.quote it as you would for normal wage and stick a few ££ on extra. If you get it its good but there's a chance I.might not because ill be 1 in 4 quotes?

Is this right? I've herd of it happening before but surely because she's one of my existing customers im in with more of a chance?

And the other thing is being a ground floor flat im guessing there's regs on the plasterboard I use? Sound and fire check?

Thanks in advance

Tell your client to tell the insurance company that they want you and only you to do the work ,they don't trust anyone else except you, that you've done work for them quite a few times.ive done it this way a lot of times and always got the work

If you know them get them to get a few quotes and also decorating ones, pick the highest and you quote slightly more with the decorating you should get it.
