i use a 103 degree mt drywall internal they are not very good when new but if you wear them in there good i use when i flatten the first coat and then everytime i trowel up i allways put i lilittle plaster on it before i start using it i dony use a brush on the internals at all only the internel trowel.

do i have to do anything to my angle trowel like bend the corners in a bit or file the corners round. cheers

i cut the corners round wiv tin snips on mine then only use it on second coat after flat to shape the corner in,after wet i just lightly brush corner in wiv very thin brush seems to work fine.

never used one for 30 years if your confident at working wet corners buy yourself a decent sach brush, its a peice of gear u dont really need, it can cause alot of problems for a learner

they have used those types of corner trowels for ever in the states as opposed to twitchers and they always run there corners in first this way ir spleys the mud out on the board and then when you skim up no lines hope this helps as it works

here we go gents....this is the way to plaster sorry if you think im being big headed, ( i am but im f**k**g good so i can be)........1st coat approx 2mm thick lay on as smooth as poss, get a trimmed up pointy 1inch brush and paint out corners, then  flatern 1st coat, lay second coat approx 1mm thick, get same 1inch brush wet and brush in corners , flattern down , wet trowel only minimum water as it will dull work only use enough to lubricate trowel, then use a 90 internal trowel ( twitcher) on corners, then  wait a while ( depending on time of year ) probably around10 to 15 miuns  before dry trowel and again if neccesary get a bit of muck on tip of twitcher and wipe down edges again, if u have to do this make sure you dry trowel out corners. If u use a twitcher prperly you can hit bigger hits instead of opposite hits which are slower and limiting. If i use a 2 man team we can hit 2 coats on an average room 12 by 12  dry trowel the lot by 11 to 123 oclock and start on next room ...no bullshit....this is the way to plaster consistantly with a finish that is second to non....on any background surface
if your not laying on board  and only old plaster etc then pva 3 to 1 mix to seal then 4 to 1 for a tack coat once seal coat is dry..if on artex then a good seal or maybe a few..........but if on polycell paints overboard and to be honest you should realy on artex too ....but...
This is the word and believe in it gents......cause their words of wisdom...told u i was big headed...but i can hit 100m in a day on me jack jones ....again no s**t www.jpplasterers.com

what the f**k you using a brush in the angle for your not a painter thats what the internals for

i use them just before the second and third trowel ......keep youre angles a tidy ass poss and idealy use them just before the third trowel it should pick up so youre not leaving the lines ..........there like skimming trowels mate dont try bending them it'll make them worse either sand the edges down or wait for them to sharpen naturally

grand u old c**t, smoOths internal quickly and effieciently....but use a twicher right at the end , the 1 incher is used to smooth but only a` quick wipe...but yes its a bit moody. but give a fecking fantatic clean edge...at least i dont use a sponge lol....hope your well nobby..and your as busy as me mate...times are tough around our way mate.. seen a few go under aLREADY..BUT ONLY THE s**t ONES...
