I've started doing wet on wet and bought one of these it says it for drywall?

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Marshalltown-M23D-Internal-Corner-Trowel/dp/B002Y0DW6I

Think some1 on here mentioned this was the one to get...I mainly do refurb domestic so angles are a bit messy to start with...

Problem i'm having is when I run the internal trowell along the angle the wings dig into the wall/ceiling so I find myself holding the internal trowell by the wings bending them to the angle and running it on the tip...and I get left with quite a clean line but its not 90 degrees...and looksa a bit qweird

what am i doing wrong?

cheers ears

And wait till ts firmed a little more, then use more angle, the winged ends should not touch the wall, or they will dig in, as you just found out.

Why do they have so many different sizes...what difference is 1/2 inch gonna make?...Artisan that one looks ok does it dig in?

I'm sure I've mentioned on a previous thread, but the best thing I've found for filling the internal angles is a plastic float - either brand new or get an old one and cut the edge off to make a nice new corner :RpS_thumbup:

Buy a 103 deg twitcher and wear it in they need to go sharp like a trowel don't **** about bendin or cutting anything you'll make them worse

It seems to work the best for me its doesnt leave any lines. They are abit old school and like bubble says the first time i seen was was from an old boy and it just looked like a chunk of finish and rust but it worked mustard

these newer type of internal trowels are not ment to be used after the wall has been skimmed, you are supposed to run a bead of mud down both sides of angles and run your corner tool down feathering the material into the background then skim upto it.

MT do two twitchers. A 90 and a 103 degree. I've got the 90 and it leaves it perfect. If you search on tinterweb you'll find it. Why would you want to use a 103 twitcher on a 90 degree angle?

Twitchers' vocabulary is the set of words used by . Twitchers are committed bird-watchers who travel long distances to see a new species just to add a species their "", "year list" or other lists. Some terms may be specific to regional birding communities, and not all are used due to dialectic and cultural differences.................:RpS_laugh:
