Number of media sources, saying on housebuilding sites 1 worker per house or 1 worker per floor.
How is a 2 person job performed.opinions.

Maybe now the job will be ready with no electricians, plumbers etc in the way when they should have been gone out of there.
Productivity must suffer, when i worked in sites, sometimes all trades were falling over each other.

It won’t be the same for domestics mate, it’ll be up to the individual. Some sites will be a absolute bloody knightmare!
Need to wait and see, tell people to get out houses on domestics, lol.
Carers cant get enough ppe, whats the chances of us getting it.

On domestics you can work to the rules you set yourself!
On site you will have to work to the rules you have been set. Some sites will get it right and some will be f**k*d. If ppe has to be worn than surely they will have to supply it.

We are now living in AC (after corona) The way things were done in BC will have to change.

I would have thought some duty of care to occupiers would need to be implemented.
Your right, who would police it in domestics.

What about carrying boards..we usually carry 2 between us as it's easier than 1 each at a time :crying: regarding trades falling over each other you must work on shite organised sites as hardly ever happens on ours or we wouldn't even get tools out of van

There was an article this week saying about sites being open at weekends and evenings so they can catch up. Their programs are going to be all to f**k.

The work load on sites is going to be massive.there were miles behind as it was,can just imagine how bad and long the inductions will be now

It used to be a bit easier carrying 2 boards when they came paper taped together in pairs you got me wondering when did they stop supplying them like that ?

1995 they were still 50kg browning, 40 kg multi, and the boards were taped together still !!
still have nightmares about loading out - i think around 96 ish the eu ruling came out ,and everything got halved, except the price !!
the 50 kg bonding/browning, were taller than me

Some of these ideas wont work, you upstairs ,how many times do uou need to go downstairs to get something, vice versa, shouting can i come down..some of the ideas smack current health safety guidelines in their face.
Get out of here only 1 person allowed.how many times has someone asked gonna hold this ,not talking about cocks.
