After reading you guys saying you can earn £200-300 a day, this is £50K+ a year.

So do you think this is the highest paying trade?

*Gas engineers seem to get good money too...

Re: Is the higest paying trade?

think this is main plastering contractors wage surely.. :-[ also depends how many men you got working for you. don't see how anyone could work on a price all year and earn this sort of money per day... and still be alive to enjoy the fruits of their labour. i could be wrong and if they are good luck to them.. ;)

you only here of the high earning jobs, its the sae as someone who quotes turnover. it means nothing. its your profit at the end of the year devided by 52weeks. most good spreads will earn an average of 750 a week

Electrical work is the highest paid building trade m8,dont let anyone tell you any different.
Plastering was good once, but nowdays every tom dick and harry is gidving it ago.
After electrical its gas and then probably roofing then plumbing then plastering or carpentry.
Painting and tiling then id say.
An electrician can charge for the fisrt hour call out what ud charge to skim a 3x4 lounge inc materials +£50 to install each light fitting or socket on average they dont get to dirty or apear to work as many hours as us.Most of them are vat registered also becuse they turning over £63 a year and the cash work in electrics is very lucritave.
