Is this acceptable or me being fussy?

We have recently had some work done and I am not happy with the finish. What do you guys think, am I too fussy?

Pic 1 - Beading is showing. I am told that it is standard practice to leave showing and that paint will cover it?
Pic 2 - This has already been painted but there are bubbles all over it, should it be flat or should decorator have sanded it down.
Pic 3 - This wall is skimmed but why does it look like it has cellulite?
Pic 4 and 5 - I am told it is for a decorator to fill in any odd bits and sand down if necessary?

I thought that if walls were skimmed they should be smooth and not have bubbles in?

It is a Victorian house.

I would be grateful for an opinion, many thanks in advance.

That is fine, I make sure my beads are clean and shine :-) I see it as picture framing your work... the paint covers it fine

Blistering does happen sometimes when going over float coats but the decorator should have sanded and filled these

Yeah it should not look like that... but shining any light down any wall wont make it look great... but it can all be rectified fairly easily :D

There will always be a few bits here and there that need tidying up and any good decorator will know that.. lots of plasterers can get walls perfect and even then there will be a few bits here and there... it is a wet trade after all.
