Some of the EWI system suppliers specify thin coat renders onto Polystyrene...... however, they usually specify or supply the polystyrene as part of a complete system.......

What is the application?

yes polymer - modified !
are there any BS standards ?
who say it's a suitable sub straight ?
should it not be keyed ? as it looks very smooth to me !

Insulated System Warm Wall Energy : Knauf Marmorit

OK - I would point this one out - it is another Knauf Business (declaring an interest.... lol). You will find a page with cont6act names and details on this site as well.

Get in touch with someone like Parex as well - their Maite Basecoat is also very good and will probably be suitable!

To be honest, most of the EWI system suppliers will offer a solution onto Polystrene.....

Pick an EWI BBA cert, any of them ....... they reference BS and EN norms for substraights and the render products........

If you want a warranty, talk to one of the system suppliers and get them to confirm their products to your Poly.....
