Evening gents!
First post so be gental,
Just trying to price a kitchen that has 76m2 of stone walls to cover in a 17th century house after doing a lot of research I have come to the conclusion that it needs a DPC or breathable plaster ie Lime/limelite or izonil, the customer won't have boards which I can understand, what I don't want to do is use modern materials such as hardwall+multi and seal one side of the stone resulting in water ingress.
so just been looking at prices for izonil @ £22+ vat per bag is a hell of a lot of money but I wanted to use this, now the other options are lime plastering which has rediculous cureing times, also limelite which I've never used nor have I got a price as yet.
so I would really appreciate your view on which way to go forward ie least expensive best product?
cheers Ben
