After reading the thread about electricians I thought id post this here. Heres todays joinery f#@k up. He was going to leave it and let me wave a magic wand but instead of taking his frame down and doing it properly he chiseled some of the wood out. C0ck

Aye its all over the place , wall plate not all the way along to the end , complete bodge a joiner wouldnt leave it like that or do it like that !

I boarded it but wasnt enjoyable. The last piece on the left was screwed direclty into thr wall and was loose as ****.

I am liking the fact the wall is chased out enough already to take the cable. But this "complete person" has not worried about that and made his job harder in the process by then having to maul at the timber with any tool he has to make it fit. With this, Has made his work look even worse than it was in the first place. That needs a special award if ever I seen one

Think we should start an awards for biggest cock ups seen on sites etc. There are plenty of us here and everyone has a camera phone these days

I'm with that.
I was on a job the other month where the builder had used massive 9x4 timber joists and spaced them at 900 center saying "bigger beams less joists to put in saves on timber and labour".
I was laughing my head off! And told him "you are going to nog the f£&?k out of them joists to get the plasterboard and floorboard to fit!"
I wish I had a photo of the joists and his face when I pointed out! He could have just done 600center
