joint in skimming

whats the best way to put a joint in skimming a wall. i have a large hallway wall to do and i want to brake the set down into two parts cheers please help daz

wouldn't bother mate. joints look s**t.

sort your suction out, take a deep breath and get it on!

Same as above get yourself ready and keep going till its finished it will look so much better to do it in one without the joint.

You could put two lines of scrim back to back and pull one of before set finishes but same as above.get dry roasted peanuts down yer pump up the radio and av it!!

Prepare, prepare, prepare........get everything ready, then do what you're comfy with & trowel it in. Then mix another and go as far as your comfortable again. Trowel in & go over your 1st bit again. Mix some more and go as far as your comfortable ..............................................................................you get the picture??:RpS_thumbup:

As Bubbles says just roll it,if you are going to joint it do it above a door if you have one.

I don't think it's good to skin up and toot on a job though. You'll lose your concentration. You'll fall off that door too
