Hi guys I been plastering (internal)for a few years now but want to start rendering too. One of my friends has sparred garden walls which they want smooth s&c on so I'm going to start there... On the smaller ones first. Hopefully i can get a good feel for the procedures on the small stuff. I have been reading up as much as possible but just want to check I have it correct be for I start.
so the plan is to pressure wash the walls to remove the loose sparr btw the sparred walls a sound apart from one blown part which I'm going to remove then patch. Then I'm going to sbr slurry the wall followed by a 5.1.1 scratch that's holm sand (should I put feb in it too?) then once curred top with a 6.1.1 once again holm sand, shall I put all holm sand or 4 holm an 2pit? When do I put the waterproofer in is that the scratch coat? Thanks in advance I'm sure there stupid questions but i would like some good advice
