weve been mainly using webber machine applied with a hawk and trowel ..........lovely gear ;D

I dont like that weber gear found it tears alot when ruling and is shite to lay on and goes solid to rub back next day gotta have arms of hurcules to rub it back :-\

it was tearing on us mate and scaffold joints were a mare .........wouldnt be so gutted if the panels didnt just have 12 sqm in each ;D

ive heard alot of people say they have had bother with webbers monocouche but i have had none i found it better though putting theres on in 2 hits in stead of of one coat when i say 2 hits i mean 2 thinner coates strait onyop of the other no hanging about

I have found it better to put a tight coat on first and a thicker one second as it tends to get those ever expanding rings if it has a tight coat on the top.

ive got an expanding ring ;D...........seriously though how do you mean mate?

If there is a high point on the background or the first sweep is not flat enough, when you scratch back you may go right back to the first layer.

Agree with andy on that one.

how much are you laying on before you second coat?.............i prob dont do more than 2-3 sq m

spunky, if you bring the first coat out to the beads and then lay a thin coat over the top you will get ghosting if the first coat has formed a crust. if you aint had it happen yet then you have been lucky, what you need to do it lay a thin coat to kill a bit of suction and then a nice thick one.
