Hi Guys,

Looking to get qoutes in to have a detached house rendered in the spring next year.
Either k or webber, something like that, can anyone recommend someone in the Norwich area?

Cheers

Stu

Spring is an awkward time for Weber or K rend. Winter is ok with common sense or summer but Spring and Autumn is awkward because of setting times.

I can price it up/advise If you wish. Were on at hartford currently if you want to drive about to see our work.

Im pretty flexible for the time of year just figured winter is usually wet or freezing and summer is either roasting and dry or wet!
Need someone to agree to get it on the walls first though!:RpS_biggrin:

If your happy to travel out this way i dont see why not.
Just a bit confused with what seems to be alot of negative comments on K cracking up and awkward times of year to apply it ect.A slow cure is surley the best to minimise shrinkage and cracking. How do you guys find the K?

You could consider one of the other manufacturers for Spring or Autumn. They are usually slow setters so you can safely apply in the day and finish next day. There are plenty to choose from, SAS Prorend, SPS Granicem, Parex, Kilsaran, Enewall (very slow setter maybe too slow).

When your in the rendering game a 30 min journey is local work.

I will be more than happy to quote.

At the end of the day I can advise you on products and options but you will have the final say if you wish to have a certain product or colour. We will only use top quality material at the end of the day.

Slower setters are better to avoid shrinkage cracks which is why some applicators find krend an unknown because its a slower one but has been know to suffer shrinkage. We haven't had this issue with krends egrade.

We also use enewall. Its probably the slowest on the UK market also a true polymer modified scrape render and contains fibres you don't get this with others at the price. Its a wonderful product. But as said look at the samples and pick yourself.

HE did say NORWICH NOT NORTHWICH?

Hahah

I'm must apologise I did read it as Northwich but them again I got a lot of mono scrapings in my eyes this week due to high winds.....

So I must say... F##k that we don't go near norwich.

UK plastering machines will sort ye
