whats the recommendations on going over very wet 7 newton concrete block ? is it a no no or will it be ok

Limebloom will probably be caused and possibly mortar joint ghosting if you like to be a bit tighter than recommended. The residual moisture will have to evaporate away by traveling through the render which will drag salts and contamination to the surface.

We had the wet block and salty joints problem last year , we spatter dashed the block work with sovereign render mix in the mix and that worked well

We did a concrete block internal render a few years ago,the blocks were soaked, huge problem with salts after, the builder blamed us for using lime,

Done it anyways Contractors insisted we do it even though we told em not on wet blocks and they even checked with K-rend who told em the same, ..soo if it fucks up not our problem

Its a no

Not exactly.

When it comes to paying they might not pay simply because they are not satisfied with the results. As for pre warning them without proof it is your word against theirs. Been there before.
