K Rend and decking

Hello,

i am planning on using K Rend for a garage where there will be decking attached to wall.

would it be ok to unscrew outer boards beside wall and K Rend down to the ledger? Then just plane the deck board and screw back down? It's single skin no DPC

Might be be a stupid question just worried about it looking balls or the K Rend cracking.

any help really appreciated
