K Rend Basecoat on block work

I'm currently building my father a small one bedroom cottage and I am planning on finishing it in Krends TC15 in Pure White. I was wondering do you need to use Krends basecoat or can I just use sand and cement plaster, prime it and then top coat it?

Use krend base .
You could contact danni @ direct building products
She will get the correct spec with some decent prices .

Cheers. I actually just rang Krend today and I think I'll go with their basecoat.
