K Rend Course

Apparently they do a 2 day k rend course in Ireland for free.. might be going as a holiday, any1 ever done a k rend course?
 
Just had a look on the website and its £25 for a days training and thay pick you up from the airport and provide dinner. They only do it on the first Tuesday of every month I think.
 
It sounds like a good idea Oasis but I think you should really learn to render with normal S&C first, it just so happens that I am running a rendering course in Essex next month with your name on it, all you have to do is run about getting everything I need each day and in return you get to watch me rendering my next house ::)
 
im going to do it for a laugh, me and monkey will eat them out of everything also its the only way i can go on a jolly without the mrs getting her tits twisted
 
trying to get info off my daughters harddrive from her laptop, it started to die so i have had to stick it in the freezer trick and its working so far.
 
i been doing mono at weekends did a bungalow today 60m2 got 3 more in same road lovely jubbly
 
been in colchester but back to harlow next week. then starting wimbledon week after. got shed loads down here so end up sorting the lads out all weekend , forgot what the wife looks like

..................i done it few years ago great day out all paid for but as said you may want to learn abit more on the s&c krend can be tricky stuff

do you get a ghosting mark with s&c no
do you have to time s&c correctly no
i could go on trust me im an approved aplicator and i wont tell you about some jobs ive seen where guys think you just bung it in the mixer and fire it on the wall

do you get ghosting with mono , NO if you know what your doing
do you have to time S&C yes you Do,

Just like anything in our job its about knowing what your doing but a lot of chancers who aint got a clue about normal plastering let alone mono. I know which one i would prefer to do in the winter and it aint S&C.

How do you become an approved aplicator(applicator)? and what does that mean? i have been applying krend since 2003, ft, wp,comrend, dash reciever and roughcast and now e-grade but nobody has ever came up to me and said hey your pretty good at that mate, how's about we accredit you....I don't want to be approved, i'm happy knowing i'm better at it than anyone else on the west coast..
 
you tend to get it when you rub through to the first coat and you have let it form a crust. we dont get that problem because we machine apply and stay on top of it. you can also get it on a scafold line where the join has formed a crust
 
?Which brings me to equalising paint?? does it work? Anyway i have just been finishing off a job for a self builder and whoever did the roughcasting should be shot. K-rend fintry stone wet dash. He told me the guy's put on the dash reciever then hit it with roughcast three days later. Dudes gonna have to get an alarm system cos you can climb up their roughcast...Anyway can you put that paint on wet dash???
