K rend gp mortar grey

Is k rend general purpose mortar the same as Weber ocr render
And does it get applied the same
Ocr can be applied in 1 coat application can the k rend or does that need scratch coat 1st then top coat after thanks

K Rend gp is recommended 2 coats. Use as you would traditional render. Although there are some that have applied in one and had no problems.
In my opinion OCR is worlds better.

Just looked selco sell Johnston's render not cheap stuff though £19 a bag

Nah thats way wrong. Set up an account at your local Johnstones paint centre then get the rep to call. But insist on freebie’s. Wooly hats etc.

Then get trade rates.
