Just had some terraced garden walls built in block ,was wondering what is best to apply ,I have had several different answers from plasterers ,have been told not to K rend and have been told to K rend .Also there is a board you can fix to the walls that is specific for K rend is this right .Any advice would be much appreciated.
Thanks pagey.:RpS_thumbup:

As long as blocks are 4.2 n and above just mono away,,if lower strength block you may wish to fully mesh in your first pass,,although some manufacturers spec this regardless nowadays

Hi Mate

Talk to K rend about a board (Knauf Aquapanel Exterior is suitable) - but as warrior says.... if it is just a boundary garden wall (without any soit built up behind it), why board it....?

Just make sure it is secure and suitable and get a pro to apply the K rend....

if it is a wall holding a raised garden.... tank it from the soil side if you can, otherside batten, board and render (this will allow any drainage through the blocks, without it effecting the render - well too much...)

Good Luck

Don't do it it'll look awful in a few years.
It's cheaper to sand cement render them and a good coat of paint which you can renew as and when required
