hi got the back of a bungalow to krend about 20m the thing is its got two arched windows in it im going to use plastic beads for the reveals just wondering what beads for the heads will the plastic ones bend to the contour also the arch brick is in stock brick will it need any pre treatment first

cant u snip out the back of the bead to make it bend?

use a plastic stop bead and bend it or I have used a plastic skimming arch bead before but its a pig to set up.
If the brick are the smooth faced ones then hpx first mate.

Just done something similar and used a plastic drip bead bends round lovely if not too tight a curve

you mean like plastic bellcast bead warrior an does the webb need sniping every so often

just use an arch bead and dub it out first to give you thickness

Yes mate , turn it upside down and it curves nicely , does not need snipping

wiz you mean just a skim arch bead if so i will give that a try

Make sure you set it perfect monk and go very careful when you rub it back as there isnt enough depth there really and the wings of the bead could show through. use a small flat tool to gently rub back the last few inch's instead of that nasty thing full of nails.

Monk, just turn a plastic bell cast bead up side down it works perfect ,no worryin about scraping back set it where you want on the projection and you still got ya 15mm on the inside 8) 8)
