S a plastering

doing this job next week going to base coat it first so less mixing on the ft as per photo they have projected the brickwork a good 20mm
so above the door an window what is the best bead a normal drip bead sat on the base coat or do they do a 20mm bead thanks

You can get a 20mm bead but a 15 will be sufficient assuming you want the brick to project from the render finish depth
 
I know mate don't ask you know what builders are like!would you set your krend back a bit then might fire that to him see what he says?
 
20mm of krend is gonna cost in material. I would keep it back 5mm and leave the brick more a feature. They look a bit wrong flush finished

Cheers pal we will go with that also would you still put a drip bead at the bottom where the brickwork is corbled out as well cheers jfe your a star
 
Use drips where you can keep to the dpc if it runs into the brick just stop and start it again. If you have a brick course all the way round then its up to you. I tend to still use a bead tho
