Hey kirk I think they want to use thistle durafiish now funnily enough but, i cant see if it will go onto painted brickwork, may have to use bont-it ,also the coverages are based on 2mm. I would have expected to use a more substancial product but... who am i.
 
yeah thats what i recon but it could be used over tidy masonry with bond-it maybe. they are doning it on site now onto the in situ concrete - bond-it, 24hrs, then multi finish direct skim
 
Run the spec for the durafinish by BG and they confirmed thislte bond-it 24hr drying obviously bonding coat and then skim with durafinish. the durafinish is no good for painted masonry.
see now i would sooner use a polymer render at 10mm one coat job done.
 
yeah i will price up all options now grand, its easier to go with a render because less installation time plus thistle durafinish is around £9 odd per bag. still only covers around 10m2
