Keeping spongefloat in good nik

Got a sponge float from amazon for 8 quid so maybe not a great one. It's a right pain to keep clean, any tips old be gladly recieved. I did wonder whether buying a decent Refina one might be the answer

best way i find is keep rubbing it under running water or get a bucket of water and keep rubbing until all the s**t has come out

i find the best thing to do is put it in a bag put in shed and forget about it

try and get most of the glut of of it by scraping ya trowel down it but dont press too hard of you'll bring the sponge away from the plastic base, then just wash it under the tap like NPS mentioned. On another post NPS stated he massaged it like he does to him self in the shower.........:RpS_scared:
