Knauf Finishing Plaster v BG Multifinish

Last night, I had a large ceiling to skim (over artex) but realised I didn't have enough BG Multifinish for the job. I ended up in 'Focus', and had to buy the Knauf Finish plaster as that was all they had. (also pricey at 6 quid a bag!).

Apart from it being expensive, and grey in colour, I found it very workable and slower going off. I trowelled it exactly the same as MF and the finish is pretty good.

What do u fellas think?

knauf finish is nice stuff and you can get it cheaper than at focus

used a lot of mp finish and i really like it , i think you get a better finish than MF

only ever used the fp90 think its similar stuff? i loved it loads of the lads couldnt get on with it tho it stays off ages then as soon as you get water on it it start goin off rapid

Ive used knauf finish in the past , luvvly stuff and it seems to go alot further than multi.
on the down side it takes longer to set and when its fully dried out it seems to damage quite easily :-\ :-\ :-\

When we used to do Barratt sites, Knauf was the only plaster they would use they would'nt use BG, after a while when you get into it its good stuff.
