Have found it takes forever for knauf mp finish to set. Just started using it today. Put on two ceilings at just after lunch and at 4pm they still hadnt set properly. Anyone else having issues or have tips? Thanks

I had this problem a few weeks ago. I sent 60 bags back. I use mp finish a lot u need good boardwork for it. But it is lovely to use when it is right. Send back the bags u have and get new bags with a different date on them

Hi guys, Iv just bought a pallet of mp finish this week, feed up using multi finish and dont like the way it drys out also asked TPs to get me some carlite or ultra like i used back home, they say its out of production and they havnt made it for a while, funny that when i seen a pallet of each in my local builders merchant back home a week earlier, figure that one??
I find the mp sets a little slower but i get a lot more metres on with ease, just trying to work out the timing is the thing for me. Working on a large garage with it this week, the ceiling was 150 squares so split into 3 and work a treat.
Do use guys spray? I just bought a Ritmo L for render but would like to convert for spraying skim, i know you can spray mp and BG have a spray finish, have use used it and what would be best?

@devine1001uk for the afternoon set i added a little of the dirty water into the mix and found it set a bit quicker.
