knauf universal board finish

used it for first time today gotta say i liked the finish, goes for miles and smoother less gritty than bg after using for a while i think it would be great

Its brilliant stuff mate i used it for years on that site near the water tower in Bispham for barratts

I used knauf in the early nineties, had lots of problems with it even the knauf rep said it was not as good as bg.
Perhaps they have made some inprovements to the product.

do wickes sell it as they sell plasterboard

No Wicks dont sell it and thats the only problem with the stuff hardly any one stocks it, its a shame really as its really good stuff

hi we do a pretty s**t job we use knauf one coat plaster on palsterboard cos they been done wrong and then skimming with knauf board finish.but it peels off very easy and does not bonds well.anyone knows somthing about it.i think borad finish is not ment to be used on backing coat
