Krend which size beads?

When hand applying Krend which size beads are best to use if using a base coat? I will be hacking off render first back to brick.

10mm or 15mm?

If using 10mm do you bed them onto the base coat once it has gone off?

10mm and put on top of base

And use knauf drylining adhesive not british gypsum

Is it scratchback?

Im using 19mm novaplas beads just now for scratch back thats with a hp12 base, i think 15 is to small imo!

why if you're beads are going over the basecoat

Personally i think bedding beads over the base coat is a waste of time, why not bed them on whilst you are basecoating thus leaving you will all the prep work done instead of having to go over it again to do the beads

Because if you set one bead while you're base coating and it goes off and you come to put another bead ontop or below or whatever you do if you stick them as you go you can't adjust the bead you've already set And **** using 19 mm beads if I was doing that I'd nail the f**k**s on and put my base coat on after and lose a bit of depth
