does anyone no where i can get hold of this.ive got a job rendering on to stock brick.the firm i used to work for supplied us with kx11 for making slurry coats for painting on to stock brick before rendering.
the other alternative will be sbr but ide rather use something ive got a lot of confidence in.

HP12 or weber rend aid similar stuff mate never heard of kx11

not heard of either, but you wont go wrong with SBR or REND AID

Never used Weber Rend Aid CHurch - If I read correctly, does this take the place of a scratch coat ? - Put it on and then just stipple with a roller ?? - Seems far more efficient than a S&C scratch coat - How much is it a bag ??

No mate its not instead of a scratch coat they are bonging agents used in a similar way you use pva to bond plaster onto walls only you add the liquid to cement to make a slurry then coat on your wall then apply you scratch coat

Ah ok , so evens out suction when you've got a few substrates such as Thermalite , Brickwork and concrete lintels all on one wall ??

Not really waterproofer does that job, but it will help also keeping your scratch coat the same thickness will help

yea get a coulpe a bags of rend aid or sbr get it sluryed up i normal try rolling it on when rendering over walls with a few shiny bricks with no grip.

they are compulsory if there is an expansion joint. They allow a bit of movement in the building, so if u wre to bridge the expansion with render you have a nice crack running up your newly rendered wall. You can also use them if the area is too big to get in 1 hit, so just split up your wall evenly with them.

also get the proper evpanshoin beads dont be doing eny of that back to back with stop ends water gets in. can be a pain o get hold or expanshion beads so make shoure u dont leave it till las minit .the proper 1ns look the nuts when u finished jobs .
