larger trowels for ceilings

Do you lads prefer a bigger trowel for flattening off on ceilings ?

Tried the 20" plastic on a ceiling the other day and it was the dogs dangleys- saved loads of time.

Thinking about an 18 Steel trowel now as well?

Get a s*p*r*lex spat and pole dear but won't get anything better for the job

managed to rig up my 20" plastic on an adjustable pole. Not used it yet cant wait to give it a go. Whole set up was set up less than £30.

Dont use the sponge with the plastic matey dont need to as the finish is good

it depends on the size of the ceiling only use a big trowell on big meters ie peace work

Quick question - on the refina site they have plastic trowels and plastic spatulas, do they both give the same finish, im not sure what the difference is other than the way you hold/use em... Anyone?
