Overloaded a lift and 3 of us got stuck in it today :RpS_lol: .......anyway this is the best bit we rang the fire brigade and there all out there saying what do you earn a day I was thinking of having a go at plastering :RpS_biggrin:

I know a couple of firemen / have a go plasterers. 4 days in the station then a few days plastering. Greedy feckers!

I once priced up a staircase for reskim over artex (walls). I went in cheapish coz i needed the work but didn't get it.

Same fella rings me up a few months later asking me to go look at the job again. A fireman had done it but not PVA'ed. It was falling off in big sheets:RpS_lol:

Naturally my second price was double the first one. :RpS_laugh:

Going rate for plasterer/fireman is £80 a day. Loads of them about now.

just had a phone call to come and plaster a kithcen walls and ceilin......fine i says, turns out they have only gone and fitted the new kitchen already finished yesterday and now they want artex ceilin plastered over and all walls:RpS_cursing:

Its the kitchen fitters not the customers fault they should inform the customer to plaster first. Idiots
