been thinking for ages i'd like do get into a different more intresting type of plastering but what? there are some that apeal more than others but which one do you pick, either way will cost money and take time to train and most people don't have much of either spare, then you have to take a bit of time to get good at it. so the desision has to be the right one
with all the modern renders and the the different styles out there i'll be ****** if i know:huh:.
any input or pros and cons anyone has on any of these would be great to hear

plumbing or electrics, and you get to act like an arrogant caaant all day, i swear some of them i meet if they get any further up thier own arses they will turn insideout

i worked for a spark for about 4 years qot papers and lot, job not all it cracked up to be and like you say surrounded by pricks all day who think the world revolves around them, also a nightmare i found with private jobs as 99% of customers are clueless about trades it can be a lot harder to explain than plastering, MR bloggs does'nt understand why you have to move all his furnature rip his bedroom carpet up smash a hole in his kitchen ceilling cos the bathroom above and the floor tiled drill 35 holes chop a load of plaster off his walls re-wire half his dowstairs sockets change his 80 year old fuse board just so he can have a plug socket in a slightly more convinient place. and his mate who knows everything has already told him it only costs £40 to have a socket put in.
plastering is a lot more visual and there are much less obsticals in your way....bish bash bosh

I would start with the wallcrete, cheap course and quite easy to do and if your not busy you could help one of your kids cheat in a school project ;) Also maybe tiling this could run alongside your plastering, ewi systems are only short courses maybe try that then maybe a weekend marble course to give you an idea then last but not least a painting course. :)

ha ha i take it your young un got 1st place:RpS_thumbsup: i do really like the look of the marble stuff, and would like to do more outside not thought about wallcrete will have a look at that mate.
