lime putty on to lath wall

does anyone know what i have to add or the ratio of lime putty so i can patch in a lath wall on a grade 2 listed building? ???

1 part lime putty 3 parts sand for first backing coat mixed with hair this sand should be a course grade 2-4mm grit size and you will have to allow a minimum of 5 days before applying the next leveling coat with the same course stuff, tis then has to be allowed to set for another 5 days or so then the finish coat should be 2 parts lime putty to 5 parts sand... this sand is a lot finer 0.5 - 1mm grit maximum hope this helps

thanks very much but iv just been told its lime PLASTER, never used this stuff, is it any differnt? and is the application the same as normal plaster? much appreciated.
