Lime wall

I,ve been asked to reskim a lime wall. The previous plaster fell off when there was a flood upstairs. The thing is it was multifinish over lime. Should I be using a lime product instead of pink even though that's how it was done before? I rarely plaster anymore and its is for a friend of a friend. Thanks

If it's not a damp wall now then use very diluted coat of pva then a thickish one then multi (or SBR first coat then pva or grit). If any chance of damp still then use lime putty finish plaster.
