I've never tried it I just heard about it, I've also heard about the loch ness monster
Whether BG would make a slow coat?
I'd say 99.9% of walls and ceilings in the country are easily handled by the majority of plasterers, its only when we do things like try and get a whole room on in one mix, when the stress happens.
What us plasterers need is something that helps us flatten walls a bit quicker and easier
henry said:Best way windy is to try it yourself mate buy a bag of lime do 2 walls one and one without and see yourself mate.
When I was a lad we always put lime in our gaude both in rendering amd skim but that was nearly 30 years ago
cor am F------ old ,thistle moved on mate it;s not the same any more, or you will get is more fat to the surface with lime .Any way add the lime to water first 5 bucket trowels stir them add plaster . and watch yours eyes it burns like F@ck .
