Limelite High Impact Finish.

Hi All

Has anyone had any luck using Limelite HIF over a scratched Natural hydraulic lime render (internal!)?. Contacted Tarmac and they recommended I SBR it first which misses the whole point of using lime in the first place. Can't really see why it would not stick but might be missing something. Cheers

I think it will stick. Worse that can happen is that it doesn't.....then scrape and sbr.

It will stick like s**t to a blanket. Tarmac will either says SBR or their own easybond, just go for it I'd say

Agree with above. Long as you've keyed the lime properly should be fine. Put the finish on a little thicker than you would multi.

Gone over NHL loads of times day or 2 after...just slap it on, guess if you have left it for a couple of weeks dampen down first. Obviously got to be keyed.

why dampen down ? every time i've left it a week or two skimming hasn't pulled in. genuine question
p.s if you don't lay in flat and neat you will make a lot of work for yourself

Yep..works just fine!! Recommend taking action to kill suction (Good soaking with paddle brush a couple of times did the trick) and a casplas said lay it on as tidy as possible,

What's dg27 like? Does it sort suction?
