hello i keep getting lines of eccess plaster after each spread what do i do leave them for when i flatten in help please

Daz I hope you dont think that you get a finished looking wall on your first trowel? just fire on your first coat then when its ready flatten off then 2nd coat try not to worry to much which is what I think is happening

just with time mate been plastering 15 year mate just comes with experiance and depending on how good the backing is

Daz it seems to me like your trying to teach yourself, not a good idea mate, try getting on with a local spread or on a course.

how long hav u had had ur trowel mate, it might not be worn in proper cos i had this problem a few years back wen i first started out

really sounds like you need to go and at least watch a plasterer from start to finish...
your obviously not a plasterer..
dont take this as a dig, its just an honest question...
have you just decided your gonna be a plasterer and gone lookin for work thinking that it looks easy?

ye when people watch you they must always be thinking that looks easy until they have a handboared of plaster all over the floor simple aye

I try and flatten in as I go on big walls lay it on neat so that if you get caught its easier to get staright again.

Another spread I work for puts more lines in that British rail absolute bar steward to flatten in!!
