does anyone know the kva of the genny to run these and anywhere to get a decent second hand genny?
 
12.5 kva will do it and they are like gold dust but monkey knows where you can buy a new one for about 1800 quid and thats cheap

you boys must have sum serious wrk to pay that out. we did a school 2 years ago in scotland 15000m at £8m2 thinking on if we had bought 1 at the start of that job it would have more than payed for its self. nxt time though . nxt time ;)
 
If you think about it lee, were spraying about 80m2 a day on mono , spraying for around 2 hours and then sitting around or beading until about 1 when we scrap back, they will pay for themselves in a very short time mate.
 
it will struggle with some materials with 12.5. it will run it but the genny is running at tops all the time, a 15 kva like mine ;D ;D gives you the extra power when needed. but your right, big boy does have a 12.5, well he did, its in my stores and i might sell it and not tell him ;D

just out of interest the genny that simps and les sell with full backup comes with an uprated engine in the form of a honda gx670 as opposed to the gx620 which is what it had when it first came out. The meccalte alternator is rated to 15kva and with the bigger engine giving 4hp more it doesn't miss a beat really. I've got one and it powers a G5, mp25 no probs at all.
 
i think im gna get this new van out the way wen i get home, then realy consider this. the g4 looks more mobile than the g5. so if we wus spraying hardwall ould this do it and how much you recon we could spray from say 6 til 11. that would be 1 spraying and 1 ruling. we got rid ov the lab he does to much clock watching around 4 and it pissis me of.
 
Get a ritmo for hardwall, and if you get a bit of mono now and again it can do that too. If a ritmo was spraying continuously for an hour it would mix and put on the wall [email protected], do you fancy skimming anymore up in the afternoon?

wel we do 80 by hand wus hoping to push on thats y im considering a machine. mi mate sticks a set on as soon as we stop floating, wen im stil rubbing up and cleaning out normaly first set is dun 4 1. then 3 quick sets takes you to about severn.

not mental mate hungry. they paying us 12.50 m over here and i wnt last foreva so got get it in . think we will be finished for nxt week so coming home back to the £6m2 its gna hurt lol.

12.50 is a good rate for these times. u must be earning a fortune!! ;)

would u wanna be setting more than 80m between 2 of u a day on hardwall after floating out?

the money is gud here in guernsey but thats it nxt week..would like to get mor dun maybe 20m2 just not enuf hours in day hand spreading. but if we could spray for 3 hours from 6 am we wud get a gud amount dun and turn back and skim it. wel thats the plan any ways
 
6 to 11 you can do 100m2 of floating then two of you set 25m2 each then second hit 25m2 each again youd be done by 4
 
in the hours wigan is talking about it aint 6 to 7 thats 13 hours ive just done some flats and there was 92m2 we had it floated by 11 starting at 7.30 by hand and set by 4
