Makita 4.0a batteries

I can't decide what new makita driver/drill set to get, for same price I can either get the set with 3x 3.0a batteries or with 2x 4.0a batteries.

Basically just wandering if anyone uses the 4.0s and if they are worth having over an extra battery.

Not used the 4s but the 3s have been bang on hold plenty of charge takes some constant abuse to drain them! I'd be tempted to go for the 3 battery's just nice incase one dies or a drill gets dropped.

id go for the 2 x4a batteries unless you have or might get other makita tools that take the same batteries then i would go for the 3 x 3a

All 4s should work in the other gear..

There's also brushless set with 2x 4s for same price.. So confusing!

all the batteries will work in other gear riddler but if you do have other tools that take the same batteries then its better to have more batteries if not id definitely go for the brushless set

Think makita do a 5.0a battery now

Get a DAB radio as well, then you can use the third battery to listen to crappy radio all day.. :RpS_thumbup:
