hi all. looking to get myself a lithium set of the cordless combi drill the sds drill and an autofeed screwgun as l8ly ive been doing a lot of studwork and battons to walls and boarding etc. does anyone own any of this gear or have any feedback on the power and performance etc and if there ample enuff for the job? also has anyone seen any good offers or deals anywhere for this kind of thing,going round in circles on the net trying to find a decent deal .thanx lads
 
i got my makita auto feed and 6 pack kit and radio all from my local TP so if any of it ever goes wrong i can hand it over to them and they will sort it!

and yea its gr8 kits love it.
 
Buy repituble buy safe mate.I know a guy that paid £799 for a dewalt 5 piece kit and it never arrived he also never received his money back.
Personly i use dewalt and hilti kit mainly,but my dad uses all makita and swears by it.
 
how much did u pay for the set from tp,havent seen any of that in my local maybe i shud ava closer look.did u get enuff battiers with the set? im also thinking of gettin g the radio ive heard its a good sound ... just thinking if im guna spend out i may as well get all the gear i need and spend out on top quality all in one go and kno it will last yrs. just wherver i look there are so many different prices and i dont wana spend out and lose out .
 
they will order in from TP, i had to have a physical fight with some1 in the office but i fink i paid £590 inc VAT for the 6 peaice pack with 2 battery's.. then the auto feed was £350+vat came with 2 battery's radio is mint
 
that dont sound too bad, i kno wat u mean bout the physical fight ,trying to get the price right wen they try mug everyone off with different prices . i onli want the combi sds and auto feed so i shud be able to get a price a bit cheaper than 590 hopefully,i rekon 4 batteries will be enuff for the kit im after .
 
If your not bothered about cordless
The makita autofeed 110v 25-55 screws in screwfix is £219 saw same 1 in b&q £119 last week,
Tp was £169+vat
& yes radio is good!
 
yeh ive seen body onli items about.may jus get the combi and the sds with batteries then get the auto feed body onli,radios are about 80quid arnt they.thanx for ya replies lads,yeh i have seen sum cheep corded stuf but if im guna get a lithium makita i may as well get the set and save hassle of cables transformers etc and save van space 2.
 
in screw fix they do a 18v lith cordless in white. comes with 2 batts and is under £200 get that and then by body only! mind you its nice 2 have a box to keep um in!
 
i've got him saved on my favourite sellers nisus, you can get some quite good bargains off him if your willing to be patient. and they all come with 12 months warranty don't they?
 
I think so steve but as i say not used him myself,
but a mate of mine has had loads of stuff off him.
