nice job, thats a good one for the website paul.

i hope they aint 30 or 60 day merchants like a lot of outfits nowadays

30 days has always been standard and normally you gotta work a month before you can invoice for the first one.
its since the recession that the 60 day bollox has come into play, feck 60 off i wont touch them now after getting burnt

How long did it take to do and how many lads did you have in your crew.

It took us just over five weeks mate, we had to fix 3x3 tanalised support timbers then 2x1 lath every 300mm then the aquapanel and render system 3-4 men all hand applied.
Yes Rich just the grey panels (and the dark grey one down the middle of the building) , they look quite small in the pics, but trust me when your up close there quite big panels.

First time using marmorit, nice gear and the rep was so impressed with the job he is now trying to find us additional work, but were reluctant to do the these kind of jobs now cos off the payment terms and the way they get dragged out as JFE say's

really nice work Paul, think you should also post up the stone effect you did, that was mint and impressive. the one where matty took you up in his toy. Alot of boys on here wouldnt have seen that one.

what kind of beads did you use? stainless? you spray it? really good looking job. from what i read here these types of pre mixed render is the way forward. ive been taught old school with sand and cement and work on mainly older houses. this gear seems to be lighter, easier to apply, less chance of cracking and holds a better thermal value. plus the pretty colours. any of you bang this on domestic?? iwork in london and it seems its more of a new build thing. can you dub out with it?

zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

you coat it then bed mesh then coat of base over top then topcoat of conni and always rule the basecoat

Are you using a notched Darby mate and when you put the mesh in do you push lightly tbh I haven't got a clue what I'm doing I've tried ruling with a notched Darby using a tilers trowel which made quite a bit of difference flattening it and getting it on tight and just bedding the mesh in

well got a phone call saying the other gang thats there have threatened to walk if we turn up they want there own guys as second gang so they can make money out of them was gonna start thursday they started monday and my mate would have been in the s**t if they walked

not really it was a blinding job though big areas all off scissor lift about 15m high and loads to get at

it was a c**t on that roof fcuking around on duck ladders k2plastering guy kyle came and mucked in on weds nice bloke
