hi guys has anyone seen or more impressively used this rather large hawk? just wondered what benefits it gave other than giving you a forearm like a spinach chomping mariner, could i have been mistaken? was it perhaps a spot for hallways i,ll gladly buy anyone a beer who's done an understair cupboard using it! ;D

;D ;D i had a right knob of a labourer who thought he could plaster, he ended up buying one which was a good waste of money really cause i've always wanted to try one...............there as bad as you think you can just about reach the wall and loaded up there too heavy, but ...............fair play to marshalltown they know how to shut people up , where people moan about large trowels because you can only get a hawk so big, and they did the 90 degree twitcher which was crap ;D

Hello Mate
got one awhile ago thought it would be good for ceilings so don't have to load it as often but found it to heavy so don't use it anymore.

I have seen these in B&Q and i would be very suprised if they where workable, I thought they might be ok for dabbing but surely we have had it bad for years its time they made things easier for us, humping that handboard fully loaded will soon set your joints away clicking and leading to Authur Right Us, there is a guy from up our way nic knamed the blade he is one of the fastest plasterers around he uses a marshall trowel concreters finnishing trowel for skimming thats the big bugger so he might be able to cope with the big handboard
