Mecafino - Plaster used in Spain

Hi Im working with Mecafino and its not as easy to play with as multifinish or board finish and doesnt trowel up as well.
any tips?

mecafina is a very fine finish and expensive. if its for board get some placofinish. or get hold of some yesodur plus. lovely to work with. similar to knauf mp finish but much easier to get hold of, even in the uk. for all backgrounds

Mecafina is not that clever to use, normaly used for tarting up dodgy bits of machine plaster do as Jurek said if you can get it or just use any machine plaster use it the same as you would one coat you can put some mecafina in the mix not a lot does seem to finish better.

mecafina must be the same as acabado bit like artex in smell and texture only used as @lucius says to tart up rough spots
