I've got some parinter and some monogris e thats been on a week and been scratched and keyed.
Should I give it a coat of microgobetis before topping or not?

No not at this time of year. With all the humidity in the air that monogris.e and parinter will be like going over glass.

Kinell John by the time I'd read this I'd done it...
Albeit very watered down...AND the backing is very well keyed.
Fingers crossed....

You done right mate, don't worry! If you leave the scratch for long it will be like a glas with or without micro, but in this case - no delamination .

You wont be any worse off just not necessary. I did a spraying job yesterday, Parex on Wetherby x32 base coat. You could see the moisture sitting on the surface. Lad I am working with got a parrafin hot air blow to dry it off. Otherwise it would have slid.
