do you have a minimum wage you will work for say a repair or a couple of hrs job ive just been asked to take some tg that is over a door an plasterboard an skim its about half a metre but still 2hrs work i find theese type of jobs the hardest to price up give me bigger jobs to price anyday

£120, unless its someone I have worked for in the past and I wanna keep them happy then £100, but cant be doing it for less, its hard to draw the line between running a business and keeping people sweet, sometimes feel a bit rotten charging people for stuff that really aint taking you long but at the end of the day, they arent ya mates, they are business clients.

I would charge 90 for half day and 150 for all day you want a bit more for half days getting the kit unloading clearing up etc

Best thing I find is to book them all in on one day, say £90 Patch + £120 Ceiling repair + £100 Patchs = £310 and more chance in small sums you will get an "instant" payment

Its difficult to book all the jobs in on one day though when most clients dont wanna wait more than a week or two for you to start the jobs! everyone wants you to start immediately!

thats true but sell your sell well and they will wait, if not its not worth you doing the job as you lose out. unless you want to lose a few hours in the evening for some extra cash.

If it's a small patch £30-£50 do it on way home just finish a bit earlier :RpS_thumbup:

i dunno. for a couple of hours. 50/60 thats 25 an hour plus agro. these types of jobs cover some expenses. charge builders more though. should be able to do it themselves.
