Mono over pebble dashing

Anyone tried it / done it?
How did you do it? Rendaid, mesh with fixings etc?

Normally I would hack it off but doing that creates it's own problems and the dash seems sound

There is a Council Estate near me that had roughcast on from the 30's. The company used an algicide then a high polymer base fully meshed and pinned. Then a dash receiver. K rend will advise you on base coat but I would make sure the dash is sound and clean.

Old way, sbr, sand and cement scratxh coat.

I was asked to do a job like that ,but never went over pebble dash before m8,and if it goes wrong ,it a lot of money to lose , materials labour ect ,

I'm sure Parex have a spec for old render. Or does it have to be Weber?

If the old dash is solid and clean then I cant see whats wrong with it. The dash itself will give an excellent key.

No different and I was a Weber only man before. Love Parex now.

Should be fine as long as the dash is solid, tight coat of base 12mm of top.

im getting the spec off the parex rep Luke pickford next week..................
