Monocouche render

Hi everyone,

I'm rendering a house in monocouche soon. I use to spray all day on sites and went straight onto blockwork with no issues.
I'm moving into domestic work and need a bit of advice in regards to sub-strates. This house has render board, brick and block. Is it best to rend-aid it all first then straight over with 2 passes of k rend? Or lay on a base coat (6mm) then 2 passes? (I'm applying by hand).
Cheers

Our team at PRB Systems would be happy to supply a specification for you on this project.

We have a specialised base coat and Monocouche suitable for Render board systems

Basecoat: PRB Fondisol - https://www.prbsystems.co.uk/product/fondisol-f-powder-base-coat/

Monocouche: PRB Thermolook: https://www.prbsystems.co.uk/product/thermolook-gf-gm-mineral-render

A suction control layer of Accrofix Pate would be suitable for the brick and block, then followed by either PRB SUPERBRUT or THERMOLOOK. If the Renderboard area joins the Brick and Block, it would be advisable to use the same product throughout to limit any form of shade variation.

Please feel free to get in touch and we would be happy to support.

Have you just woken up after a really long sleep? You suddenly seem to be active again.
How are you keeping Ryan?
