Monorex GF

f**k that!
It's a scraped render. I know they say it can be sponged but it sets different to OCR, can imagine it dragging and tearing and then being patchy when you add water for floating/sponging

I've sponged it on numerous occasions, there's nothing wrong with doing it, but you just need to catch it right.

We are doing a small job with gm next week that's getting sponged and it's being done with a mix of G10, G00 and g20, just gonna randomly through it in the machine lol see what it comes out like. I'll let you know how it looks.

Sorry about the delay in replying.
I thought I had subscribed to email alerts, but obviously not!
I'm looking at an off white or light cream (I know that it's not ideal to be sponged in darker colours)

How did the job go Beenereb4?

I'm looking at Monorex GF G20.

Anyone with experience for rubbing it up and putting rustications/ashlar lines willing to travel to Atherstone, warwickshire?

Approx 330sqm through openings

Yes,that's the one. Turned out a nice job. Once you have the right wetness, keep it there.
When i seen the video I was thinking of you. Lol. When I seen it i thought he was spraying it 2 fast. But I noticed he was just going back over it.

By a strange twist of fate, Parex uk are based at atherstone, ask one of there reps if they can reccomend a local applicator, you can walk there in person and knock on there door!

It was on speed 5. I was told the Ritmo will not mix below speed 5.

That job on FB the texture suited the existing heavily painted dashing on the back.

Get the video up John, for us old timers who don't have Facebook

Don't know how? My youtube account has my email address as the user name. Not having that.

Is this the same job you posted last year, we recommended to contact parex direct at the time for approved, did you not have any luck?

It is the same job, it was delayed because the windows took from May to November to be fitted properly!

I have spoken to Mark Eely who is the local rep from Parex about 20 times. Frankly he is useless, doesn't have any answers to hand and won't phone back or reply to emails. The people in the Atherstone office don't actually know anything. I am at the end of my tether trying to get this sorted out!

I'm surprised by that as the parex boys are good chaps
TBH it's a job not many can do.
It's top end spec wise
