multi or bored finish

what do u prefere i was brought up using bored finish on every back ground to be skimed and find it hard buying anything else does any one find a big difference between these two and what do you prefere..

hardly ever use board finish is it less prone to tiger stripes mate?

board for new boards and multi for re skims.....love board feel it can be flattened near enough straight away....but seems to need alot less water on wet coat....

Glad to see phippsy post thought i was going mad, no one i know thinks it easyier to use and dont notice any difference to multi but ...... there is a difference right ?

prefer board for most jobs, fined that multi soon thickens up on the spot alot quicker but doest set very fast once youve second coated it
