A labourer I met said he used to work for a spread and he would mix half a cap of febmix to a bag of finish..?
 
I used to work with a spread who was using pva. Then with another who was using waterproofer.... then another using ....cream of tartar....the next one used.... SBR......half time.....extra time...... vinegar...... bonding....hard wall.....piss in it.....I got tired in the end and came to the conclusion s**t won’t change s**t!
 
Splash of Pva makes a creamy mix especially if hand mixing. Not good practice though but I have done it. Don't think it changes the set times
